For wholesale delivery in Algeria, the right option depends on your cartons and who can receive them. A nearby collection agency may suit a small order. Delivery to your shop may save a difficult collection trip. Compare the whole journey into your stockroom, rather than the carrier's quoted price alone.

First check whether both services accept your cartons

Ask the wholesaler for the carton count, packed weight and dimensions. An order of fifty phone cases has different transport needs from fifty small appliances. The number of products alone does not define the shipment.

One carrier-specific example: Yalidine's August 2026 terms, articles 4 and 10 limit home delivery to parcels of no more than 20 kg actual or volumetric weight; heavier parcels go to collection points. Confirm acceptance of your cartons. This is not a nationwide rule.

Do not apply a small-parcel quote to an entire wholesale lot without confirmation. If the goods exceed the offered service, request a suitable alternative and a new quote. Splitting the order into several parcels may change packaging, charges and tracking. Have that option priced before choosing it.

Agency pickup versus shop delivery: what to compare

Yalidine's official agency directory lists Stop desk identifiers, communes and addresses. Send the precise agency to the seller, then check opening hours and collection requirements directly. An agency being listed in a wilaya does not by itself establish delivery coverage to your shop.

For delivery to your premises, describe access: ground floor or upstairs, stopping space, contact person and carton count. Ask exactly where the service ends. Delivery to an address does not explain who unloads the goods or carries them into your stockroom.

Compare the cost of receiving the stock: a fictional example

The following amounts are illustrations, not observed Algerian market prices or Yalidine rates. The goods, packaging and all other terms are assumed to be identical.

Here, agency pickup costs 200 DZD more overall. If you already pass the agency with a suitable vehicle and incur no extra expense, its total falls to 900 DZD: it is then 300 DZD cheaper. Your actual collection arrangements change the answer.

Record the time and person needed separately. If you assign a value to that time for decision-making, distinguish the estimate from cash you actually pay. Then include the chosen transport cost in your comparison of wholesale supplier quotes in Algeria.

Write the receiving plan before dispatch

Keep a short record of the exact destination, main and backup contact, amount due, carton count, tracking references and agreed incident procedure. For multiple cartons, ask how you will identify a partial delivery.

On arrival, compare the package count and visible condition with the available documents. Report discrepancies in writing through the agreed process. Do not assume opening before payment, an immediate exchange or compensation is included. Clarify those points with the seller and carrier before dispatch.
